A rally demanding justice for Ms Dhu and Rebecca Maher, two Aboriginal women who died in police custody. Family and organizers of the rally have called for a complete and independent inquiry into these two deaths, as well as more wide-ranging action to prevent Aboriginal deaths in custody. They demand that all information and evidence, including CCTV footage relating to these two deaths be released. The rally began at Belmore Park in central Sydney and marched to T.J. Hickey Park in Waterloo.
