Protesters gathered at Hyde Park and marched to Town Hall Square, where speeches were made urging action. Speakers included Wiradjuri woman and City of Sydney Councillor, Yvonne Weldon , Rhiannon and Anna Meek from What Were You Wearing, Mehreen Faruqi from The Greens, Dunghutti woman, Ashley Donahue from Mudgin-gal, Katia Schwartz from Scarlet Alliance, Sarah Brown from She Is Not Your Rehab, Sarah Rosenberg from With You We Can and Hala Abdelnour from The Institute of Non-Violence.
