COVID-19 Diaries: Australian Travellers Arrive in Sydney

Thousands of Australian travellers were bussed from the international airport today , under helicopter and unmarked police escort, to be quarantined at hotels across Sydney’s CBD. The army was also drafted in to assist with the operation.

NSW Premier, Gladys Berejiklian, signalled yesterday, that up to 5000 returning Australians could arrive back in Sydney per day, every day into the foreseeable future.

The Premiere also warned that NSW could soon go into lockdown.
